Some time ago blew the news that Intel is ready to launch a new Celeron series, the affordable version of Sandy Bridger other processors. So what kind of specifications?
Intel Celeron family of Sandy Bridge will be launched in the range of the third quarter of 2011. Based on the leaked that pushes through the internet, prososr consists of three types namely Celeron G440, G530 and G540.
Although it will be present at an affordable price, but the specs on offer was tempting. For example, the Celeron 530 and 540 which have 'two brains' with a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) speed of 850MHz in it.
Both of these processors will have 2MB L3 memory with about 64watt power consumption. For speed, the G530 will run at 2.4 GHz and G540 at 2.5 GHz.
While the youngest version of the Celeron is still using single core G440. It is considered reasonable, because the product is intended for power-efficient computing.
Celeron, launched an entire series already supports 64bit instructions, and virtualization. And just like other families Sandy Bridge, these processors also use a socket LGA 1155.
